In January of last year I started my 2013 Design Challenge, where I challenged myself to design a new t-shirt for every week of the entire year. This past week marked the end of my journey, and I couldn’t have done it without you. The shirts you see above are the culmination of my New Year’s resolution from January, 2013. Inspiration has come from numerous places. From the passing of my aunt and uncle due to cancer, to my wife saying; “I think foxes are going to be trendy this year.”, you all have been instrumental in the development of these shirt designs. There were several weeks where my brain was creatively drained, so I would ask for ideas from you, and you didn’t let me down. From “Turn Your Awesome Up” to “Zack Loves Kelly”, some of your ideas helped give this challenge some much needed comic relief. For an insight of where each shirt design developed, check out my design challenge blog.
As my grand finale, I made my last week’s shirt post a New Year’s Eve countdown where I designed 10 shirts instead of my usual one. The countdown started with Ten Pins and went down to Lone Wolf.
Each shirt has been available for purchase through my online store, and there have been sever orders throughout this past year. I wasn’t ready for the large influx of orders through my Black Friday deal! Thanks for your support over the Christmas season. It was a true blessing to see so many people enjoy my designs. If you haven’t been to the store, feel free to check it out and see if there’s a shirt that suits you.
Thanks for your support during this challenge. I look forward to posting new shirt designs to my store this year as well, just not one every week. I hope you’ve enjoyed this process as much as I have.
